			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On July 10th, I attended the first <a href="http://barcamp.org/VinoCampParis2010" target="_blank">Vinocamp</a> organized in Paris by <a href="http://www.missvickywine.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Miss Vicky Wine</a> and <a href="http://twitter.com/gregoire" target="_blank">Gregoire Japiot</a>. All day we networked with people sharing the same interests : wine, internet and social media. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I believe that Facebook is one of the most interesting social media tools that a winery should use on a day-to-day basis. Below I am sharing a great tip that I’m using everyday for my customers.</p>
<p>The trend for every brand is to create a Facebook Page and lots of restaurants in the US have a Facebook page with people following them. Thanks to those pages, you can now directly connect with the restaurant and future consumers of your wine.<span id="more-266"></span></p>
<p>The first step is to contact your distributor to know where your wines are sold. Most of the distributors use software that can easily tell you where your wines are sold and have been sold in the past. Then log in to your personal Facebook account, search for every restaurants that are selling your wines and become a Fan of them (or new button Like).<br />
Once you are a Fan you can leave comments on their wall. The first thing you should do is to thank the restaurant for choosing your wine. You can also share a little story about your wine or winery, but not too long.</p>

Two or three times a month, leave a comment on the wall, share something about your winery, you can also ask a question like “How do you like my wine?” You can have a true insight of what consumers think about your wines.<br />
You give access to your information to the manager of the restaurant, the sommelier, the waiters but also everybody who is following this restaurant on Facebook, which means your customers. Trust me if a restaurant manager see that the winemaker is connected directly with the winemaker you will generate more sales. For you, this is a way to directly connect with your resellers and your consumers.</p>

<p>- Snooth has a US-centric, affluent, well-educated audience and users typically visit the site weekly or more<br />
- 96.9% of survey respondents use Facebook; 25.1% use Twitter.<br />
- 30.4% of respondents visit Snooth on a daily basis;<br />
- 81.7% of respondents visit Snooth once a week or more.<br />
- 55.1% of respondents are casual enthusiasts; 33.3% are more committed wine lovers</p>
